About People Helping People
People Helping People is a platform for impact-conscious entrepreneurs — people who want to use business as a force for good. Through our podcast, blog, newsletter, and coaching programs, we provide tools, tips, and community to help you launch, grow, and scale a social enterprise that creates real change in the world.
Since 2016, we've produced hundreds of podcast episodes, written hundreds of blog posts, and connected thousands of social entrepreneurs with the ideas and inspiration they need to keep going. We believe that social good and business success are not at odds — they're deeply intertwined, and the world needs more people who understand that.
Social Impact
Every episode, every post, and every coaching session is oriented around one core question: How can we use our skills, resources, and businesses to create more good in the world?
We cover social entrepreneurship, B Corps, nonprofit innovation, community development, sustainability, and the intersection of business and social change. Our guests are founders, activists, investors, and everyday people doing extraordinary things in their communities.
Sustainability Footprint
We practice what we preach. People Helping People is committed to reducing our own environmental footprint — from the tools we use to the partners we choose to work with. We're a remote-first team that prioritizes digital-first communication and actively supports mission-aligned businesses and vendors.
We measure our impact not just in downloads and pageviews, but in the social enterprises launched, the ideas shared, and the connections made because of this platform.
Our Story
People Helping People started in 2016 when Adam Morris was traveling the world, discovering organizations doing remarkable work in communities across Europe, India, Morocco, and beyond. He wanted to capture those stories and share them — so he started a podcast.
What began as a travel and social entrepreneurship podcast evolved into something bigger: a platform dedicated to building a community of people who believe that helping others is not just a moral good, but a smart business strategy. Over the years, we've expanded to include a blog, newsletter, coaching, and creative services through our sister brand Uproot Creative.
Today, PHP is based in Columbus, Ohio — a city with a thriving social enterprise ecosystem that has always been central to our story. We're proud to call it home.
